Later, he must find her again by using only her glass slipper.

Prince Philip is the brave, brown-haired love interest of Aurora in Sleeping Beauty.
Interestingly, he was the first Disney prince to have a revealed name and a more prominent role in the film.
4. Prince Eric
The land-dwelling human prince of The Little Mermaid is rescued by Ariel, the mermaid daughter of King Triton.
Despite her inability to use her voice, Ariel wins Prince Eric’s heart and they are later married.
5. Prince Adam
Prince Adam, more commonly known as The Beast, is the selfish and unkind ruler in Beauty and the Beast.
For the majority of the movie, Prince Adam is in Beast form.
After meeting Belle, he gradually becomes more kind and gentle, and true love breaks the spell cast on him, returning him to his human form.
6. Aladdin
Aladdin, from the movie of the same name, becomes Prince Ali Ababwa thanks to his wish being granted by the Genie.
He is the love interest of Princess Jasmine, and has a pet monkey named Abu.
Aladdin is the first Disney prince to be the main character, and also the first to not be royalty from birth.
7. John Smith
From the movie Pocahontas, John Smith is an unusual person on our list because he isn’t actually a real prince, but he is a prominent male character in the film.
He is also the first on our list to be based on a real person in history.
John Smith is also an interesting character in that he and Pocahontas do not end up living Happily Ever After together, as he must return to England.
8. Li Shang
Li Shang becomes the love interest of Mulan, in the film of the same name.
He is the only Disney Prince who isn’t royalty. Instead, he is the army captain of Ping, who is actually Mulan disguised as a man.
Mulan and Shang save each others’ lives and eventually go on to marry.
9. Prince Naveen
From The Princess and the Frog, Prince Naveen is the selfish Prince of Maldonia.
In an effort to marry the wealthy Charlotte La Bouff, he makes a deal with the evil Dr. Facilier. In the process, he is turned into a frog, and can only become human again if he kisses a princess.
After being convinced to kiss the frog, Tiana is also turned into a frog!
10. Prince Eugene Fitzherbert
Eugene Fitzherbert, also known as Flynn Ryder, is the thief who meets Rapunzel while hiding in her tower the movie Tangled.
Named Horace at birth, Flynn explains that he grew up in an orphanage. There is no indication in Tangled that he is royalty.
However, we later learn in Tangled: The Series that he was indeed born prince of the Dark Kingdom.
Unofficial Disney Princes
The following are characters who are not official Disney Princes, but who are notable and prominent male characters in their films or who are verified as Disney Heroes.
Taran (From The Black Cauldron)
Taran is the headstrong and adventurous love interest of Princess Eilonwy in the 1985 film, The Black Cauldron.
Hercules (From Hercules)
Hercules is not technically a prince because his partner, Megara, isn’t an official Disney princess. Still, he is a prominent character in the film.
Tarzan (from Tarzan)
Tarzan, a human raised by gorillas, is the lead character in the movie by the same name. His love interest is Jane Porter. who is not a princess, so Tarzan is not considered a prince.
Milo Thatch (From Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
Milo is the King of Atlantis in the 2001 film, Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
RobinHood (from RobinHood)
The love interest of Maid Marian, RobinHood is the do-good fox in Nottingham.
As Maid Marian is not a princess (she’s the niece of the king), RobinHood does not become a prince when he marries her.
Simba (From The Lion King)
Simba is the son of Mufasa and Sarabi, the King and Queen. He begins the film as a prince who “just can’t wait to be king.”
Despite his royal heritage, Simba is not included as an official Disney Prince.
Robert Philip (From Enchanted)
Robert Philip is the only live-action prince on our list. In the 2007 movie Enchanted, Robert Philip is the divorce attorney from New York City who falls in love with Giselle, a princess-to-be.
Kristoff (From Frozen)
Kristoff is often thought to be a prince, since we see him propose to Anna in Frozen 2.
Although she is indeed a princess in both movies (and later becomes queen in Frozen 2), Anna is not an official Disney Princess, so Kristoff is not an official Disney Prince.
